See where all the Oracle bloggers are from
6 January 2006 at 12:54 CET | In Blogging, Other |There’s an Oracle Bloggers group at Frappr! All bloggers at orablogs.com are allowed to add themselves to this group. It gives a great view of where all the bloggers live. Currently 19 bloggers have subscribed. From the satellite picture you can see quite a lot of them are European.
It’s just a shame that the map is zoomed at the US by default. You have to zoom out to see the bloggers in Europe and Australia.

My problem is that I didn’t choose to create a profile, so, now I am not able to edit my picture.
I’ve sent a message to ‘Oracle Bloggers’ Admin Group, may be they will help me.

Hi Wilfred,
i see only two german bloggers;
thats not a lot for germany and 80,000,000!
so we have a hit rate of 2/80,000,000
which is very poor!!
How is this in the nertherlands?

Karl,
There are a number of bloggers working at AMIS. There’s another Oracle/Java specilized firm that has quite a few bloggers: IT-Eye. Then there is the JHeadstart team that’s also from the Netherlands.
I’m the only “independent” blogger that I know if.
That’s a total of about 20 bloggers on 16 million people = 20/16,000,000=0.000125%. That’s not much either but at least it’s better than the 0.0000025% in Germany
